[Chron] McGrady expected to play short minutes in next 6 games

I just hope he doesn't keep doing 0-2 ft's or if he has a 1-5 shooting night, its gonna mess my fantasy stats....should i still just sit him?

 

Why in the bloody hell do you have Tracy McGrady on your fantasy team?

 

I give Kudos to Adelman for being the class-act that he's known as around the league. I'm also glad that this situation appears to be behind the team. Most of all, I'm elated that McGrady actually looked decent in an apparent Rockets win!

 

13 points is...11 points is nothing in the NBA.

 

I've got Melo, Dwight, and Dirk carrying me. T-Mac is going to start playing either in houston, or somewhere else. So, Why not?

 

I just dropped Chase Budinger for Tmac on my team. I think I've made a mistake!

I'm in 7th place and I might not make it to the playoffs. I think I'm going to have to drop Tmac for one day contracts.

 

Thanks for the news. I was just about to ask why TMac hasn't play a minute in the 3rd qtr.

 

I've had Tmac on my team for about two weeks now. I dropped Harden to scoop him. My team is very well balanced so I was able to do that.

Fantasy basketball aside, we must remember that Adelman had no interest in playing Tmac, and that this would not end well. Lessons? Don't trust inside sources, don't trust the media.

Lies, lies, they are all lies!!!! That's not tmac you fools, that's an imposter they hired just to calm the critics and fans down......mcgrady WILL NEVER PLAY IN A HOUSTON UNI AGAIN!!!

 

So, that's it? It's all over and done with? We were all being hoodwinked by the media conspiratorial inside sources?

 

I think this is excellent move by Adelman and the Rockets. Play him limited minutes so that...

1) He and the Rockets can say that he gave McGrady a chance. McGrady and his die hard fans lose ammo.

2) Limit his minutes so that he does not take too many selfish shots which can hurt this team. Announce it openly that his minutes are limited. That way if he strays away and is pulled by Adelman, he can just say that they are being cautious. And if he plays within offense and produces then his minutes will increase.

3) The delusional fans can see first hand that him coming back and dominating the game is just pipe dream. You don't come back from microfracture surgery and dominate, especially not a player with a history of poor work ethic like McGrady has.

4) Let the other teams see what he can do. If someone out there thinks that he can help them, then by all means make an offer!
