    There shouldn't even be hate.

If McGrady gets a good deal, then he goes. After all, he IS a free agent.

translation: if the rockets don't resepct and want me anymore i'll gladly go to a contender and try to win my ring there while making sure the rockets won't get any.

I love McGrady's game when he's healthy and happy, but that's been not nearly often enough over the last 5 years. Both him and Rox need change. I want a superstar without the pouty, wimpy attitude Tracy has brought every year since 2005.

You should read Bimathug's thread. He explains in detail the myths regarding his expiring contract. The Rockets won't be able to save anything of significance by letting his contract expire.

I did read his thread, that will free up money for us so we can resign lowry and scola on a reasonable contract extension. Why have 23 million dollars tied up on a single player?? It will give us some wiggle room for future signings. I know we are not in a position to go after a big free agent, just get rid of some dead weight (cook, dorsey and tracy).

Would definitely want him back in Houston next season, but if the Rockets don't want him I would LOVE to see T-Mac, Carter, and Howard on the same team next year.

I like T-Mac trying to rebuild some of the bridges that he has previously burned.

I think he himself already knows he will no longer be in Rocket Red uniform after this season. The way he spoke of it. I really just think he's trying to be as loyal as he can do this franchise so when he leaves, we don't hate him the same way the Toronto Raptors hate Vince Carter. I love Tmac for what he has done off the court, but I truly don't care about him on the court.

A leopard cannot change its spots. More like a p***y cat, but same difference.

all the mcgrady haters are just killing me.

mcgrady could be the difference maker for PLENTY of teams - not to mention THIS ONE, THIS YEAR.

he is not going to be what he was, but why can't people accept that he is still one of the better perimter players in the league?

yes, he has been a prima donna during his time in houston! but the man can still play - microfracture surgery and all!

tmac won't destroy this team's chemistry - the chemistry is solid. he will fall in line AND give us some scoring that we deperately need.

tmac can at least dribble people! jeez!
