T-Mac should not play. I rather have him 100% for the regular season. I hope Yao does not play that much in the pre-season games and I hope SF3 is able to play when the regular season starts up.
he is right, he doesn't need the preseason that may bring him another injury potentially. He should try his best to avoid the preseason to retain some energy for the season and postseason.
i don't know if he really doesn't need a preseason. but, even if he truly doesn't, is it necessary to let it be known by the feigen's or the blinebury's? hasn't this been mcgrady's problem for a long time?
we talkin' bout preseason!? Not the regular season, the actual season where it matters! we talkin bout preseason. we talkin bout preseason!!
McGrady's problem or the over reacting folks? really, if he honestly declares shoulder and knee problems and it incites a 100 page furor ... its pretty clear his critics are the ones with the issues. if he said differently and sometime down the line shoulder & knee issues derail him the same folks would be bawling about his dishonesty. there is no course that'll please ev1.
tmac miss his preseason and i do think he has to play the early few weeks of real season as his preseason.over confidence is not a good thing.that is one of the reasons why he lost his playoff games every time
all the "over-reaction" i see is from those who are in favor in mcgrady, no matter what he says or does.
You are being subjective. A lot of posters in this board care more about winning than McGrady's stats.
he is about there fellas...The weight on him is the only thing that we should worry about, it is not all muscle weight. In his defense he had surgery on his shoulder and knee so he was unable to work out at all this offseason. On a different note in one of the scrimmages I had to ref he did dunk on Joey. He gave a head fake to Landry at the three point line and drove straight down the middle to a waiting Dorsey. He rose up right over the top of Dorsey then came down and stood on the baseline and gave him a little smile. Oh yeah for the people who still have hope that Steve will make some type of comeback he is out there scrimmaging for about 10 to 15 minutes a day and then it's back off to the training room for rehab. He acutally looks good out there also, driving to the hole at will he just doesn't have that explosion at the rim he once had. I did see him dunk once but it was after a whistle and the play had stopped.
