According to Jonathan Feigen of the Chronicle: (He never said he would play Friday. The doctor said he could go through a Thursday workout to see if he could play Friday. It appears, the doctor got the schedule screwed up, though. He is not scheduled to work out until tomorrow. He might play Sunday, but I'd say Tuesday is more likely. -- Jonathan) http://blogs.chron.com/nba/2008/01/everyone_in_the_pool_yao_domin.html It's not in the story. You have to scroll down and read through the comments, half of which are from Knicks fans demanding a trade.
Uh oh! The clutchfans board will blow up! What's T-mac to do?! Damn it all! Will mlwoo and the rest give their cryptic messages? The horror!
Well according to what Daryl Morey said on Radio 610 (??)...... He won't be back on Friday. He will take another 5 - 7 days' rest.
It would be pretty interesting though if he comes back after a rocket loss though, like how yao returned from the foot injury ahead of schedule after the rockets had a lossing streak.
They are going to try to bring him back as soon as possible, however, to showcase him for a possible Knicks trade.
I dont mind T-Mac taking tommorow off, he will need to play vs the Hornets though, he carried us in the game last year against the Hornets, and I went to that game.
