Chron: McDyess could still be answer for Rockets

    I agree with you, I don't think we should fork out major money for Griffin or McDyess. And I don't think any team in the league will be willing to either, unless they are stupid. If someone gives McDyess the MLE, let them have him, he simply isn't worth risking that much money. Maybe a one year deal at a little over the minimum for McDyess and a million or 2 at most for Griffin. I don't think any right thinking GM will offer a whole lot more.

    Haven't seen much of E.T. Does he have a consistent 15 footer? I am not in favor of Okur. He seems slow and I think we need some quickness at the 4. Swift would be interesteing if we could get him cheap.

    If we do get T-mac and lose cat Francis and Cato I would hope that the Rockets also try to bring in Brent Barry. I don't want the Rockets to go too cheap on the point guard position and get a Matt Maloney type Point Guard. Heck what am I saying... he turned out pretty expensive later.Wooo talk about our overpaids...
