It would be nice if the Chronicle did a front page story on how good the Rockets are doing.

LOL....sorry Meowgi but that is the HOUSTON chronicle you are criticizing and this is a HOUSTON sports forum. Either you support the local paper or you should just leave and go read some other paper.

My thoughts exactly- what business does the Chronicle have making this a front-page story in the Basketball section? Idiots.

Sorry, my dislike for the Dallas basketball team clouds my civility.

I go to Barnes & Noble just to buy Nashville newspapers to use as toilet paper.

Hopefully things are not to rough here at Austin tonight and I can go to the Tavern and watch the game.

not getting my hopes up about beating the Mavs.

Sucks we have to play them multiple times w/out Yao.

When he gets back  Angry Yao.

Dirk has improved a lot since 04-05

He is less prone to choking

He's playing with a lot of confidence right now. But I agree, that if you have a good defensive plan, you can really slow him down.

He went from a bad slasher to an average slasher. He rarely finishes his drives. He contorts his body to get to the free throw line.

He is however, the best "shooter" in the NBA, not the best 7 foot shooter

Where are these laurels? I require proof that the Mavs are not resting on said laurels.

Too rough here in Kerrville. That snow cover is on top of a sleet cover & we're expecting more tonight. Nope, been too long since I drove on the stuff. I'll just guzzle a Heiny or 2 and read the game on the BBS. I'm counting on ya'll to accurately describe the game as usual. By the way, quit sugar coating Raef's play.

That line made me think of the 3-point contest last year if im not mistaking. Dirk won, but he should have been knocked out in the first round because the time was up before he released his shot. A blind man could see that. I quess the same reff that didnt see finley out of bound in 2004/2005.

Anyway he can shoot, but i'll never say he is the best shooter in the nba. He's a superstar shooter :D

I don't know about that... Dirts jumpshots are out of control! his been scoring in 30s and 40s lately. I hope Shane could make him change his shot resulting in Bricks and nothing but.
