    Interesting comment from the column:

Courtney Lee will be a restricted free agent, and though he plays the same position as their highest-paid player, Kevin Martin, Martin will have an expiring contract next season, and the Rockets believe they can keep both at least for another year.

Yeah , we have been speculating since 2007 ..... ugh. Les is a hard headed SOB. Maybe this 40% drop in attendance / TV ratings will get his attention.

That's not the reason for 5 game losing streak, had we won the OT games we would've been fine. However, over the last few years we have been playing better after the deadline. We have one of the best records every year, but I don't think this year that's going to happen, we are not that good and Adelman could work wonders that McHale cannot.

the new tax which takes effect in the 3rd year could see a lot of teams keeping their rosters intact and handing out 1yr contracts in free agency.

Trade for Dwight, Deron, Durant, and we'll be fine.

Feigen's insight on this column sounds 100% legit. I would not be surprised at all to see trades for Wallace and Asik.

It would be funny if Morey doesn't, or didn't do any trades this trading deadline, instead of bashing Scola, TWill and KMart. We'll be bashing Morey, who I think has done the best he can since he did try to get all the stud free-agents year-after year. If we do keep 3 PGs after the trading deadline, we should change it to, "In Morey, we trusted."

I don't blame the players' uncertainty. I can see why we're on this losing stretch and it's because not everyone on the team is in tune. I think one of the main reasons we did so well in the second half of the season was because the trade deadline was over and players had nothing to worry about. I'm hoping and expecting that this team will get better after the deadline regardless of the roster change. Yay optimism! :)

I agree that these are our most likely targets

Dragic + Chase + exp for Wallace

    Lee / Asik + incentive

They should be used to it by now. It's been a way of life around here for the last 3 years.

Well, true but it's easier said than done. Plus, not everyone thinks the same way.

Not too long ago, someone in the higher ups called me an important asset at work. Or a good asset or something to that effect.

Thanks to Maury, I don't automatically think it's a good thing anymore.
