But I have a hard time believing TMac is going to get better. Championship era Dream improved the players around him after finally realizing he couldn't do it by himself & actually having a supporting cast. He also was effective even being double teamed, something he learned while trying to do it himself. While TMac is doing his part of trying to make those around him better, he's not being consistent.

TMac has carried the team in the past and during this streak without Yao, while Yao has not done so, maybe this season but 8-5 hardly counts as carrying. Oh I agree with you, all I'm saying is that it's unfair to make a verdict right now. I don't think Tmac can really propel himself any higher, in fact I couldn't care less if he did. All I want from Tmac and the team is a greater level of consistency. 69 Points in an NBA game is unacceptable. You shouldn't even deserve to go to the playoffs if you score that little, regardless of your opponents score.
That's only team's fault. The ball was not moving at all, we couldn't get to the ft line, we we couldn't make 3. 10-31 in the fourth is ridiculous. No energy, nothing. It was very easy for Hornets to defend us.
McGrady haters (most notably AntiSonic) are NOT Rockets fans. I have heard every argument, and I do not consider myself a homer, but there is just no way to hate on this guy and consider yourself a supporter of the NBA team playing in Houston.
Thats why I'm not spearheading a campaign against the mac. I agree, we lost as a team. I'm not saying Tmac has to take over a game like that it's just disappointing when he doesn't.
He has to and of course he sucked but you cannot do anything by yourself if the other player are not moving, the ball is not moving and nobody can hit a shoot. TMac was obviously bad but that was team's fault cause everybody sucked.
Sure there is. People who dislike McGrady feel that he is holding the team back. We can argue for eternity over which side is correct, but to say that either is not a true fan is nothing more than an attempt to make your opinion look better.
Listen, I'm going to continue to root for and support the Rockets and McGrady. Frankly, I never stopped. But the bottom line is, the Rockets existed well before McGrady and will continue to exist when he's gone. The logic behind you "cant criticize McGrady because to criticize McGrady means your not a fan" is crazy.
