Those who consider Hinrich's pay excessive should consider T-Mac's. I'll be ecstatic if we get Hinrich, happy if we get an upgrade at PG, miserable if we do nothing. T-Mac's done. Ron and Shane have hobbled all season, and don't look to get better any time soon. Luther wears a suit. Dorsey can't shoot a jump hook. Yao is inconsistent, and terribly frustrating some games-- but he does take over some games, and he has come back from multiple injuries to do so, unlike others. Let's keep the big fella. Scola, Landry, AB, Wafer, Deke, BB are keepers, in my book.
Scola is the only player that brings effort every single nite.....not Yao, TMac, and Artest....I may not like Rafer that much but he does play inspired basketball nite in and out
Well, I 100% disagree with you, he is an upgrade in every facet of the game and would FEAST on the wide open looks Yao and Tmac create. DD
I'll tell you what.. the first time you posted saying that Mike Miller would be the ideal fit instead of ron .. I was thinking that you were mad! but hey.. seems you were totally rit abt artest.. good call! and regarding Hinrich... that guy is a PROVEN pure shooter... although the 10 million is a lil too much.. he is definitely a big upgrade over Rafer or Artest and he can play at 2 also.. if necessary.. Morey my man.. plzzz plzzz get a pure shooter at PG! I don;t mind anyone as long as he can shoot the ball and run behind screens..
I'm in for switching Artest for Miller. I'd rather see Grady gone, but after that failed attempt at a reverse dunk last night the rest of the league now knows he's done.
Hinrich on this board is so so overrated its not even funny. He is not an upgrade especially at his price. And personally I would get rid of T-Mac before I got rid of Ron Artest.
He's not an upgrade DD, forget about it. Go get NBA league pass and watch him DD. The thinking about Hinrich on this board comes from the grass is always greener on the other side theory. At $10million Morey would be an idiot to trade for the guy, especially if Artest were included.
I like the theory that Hinrich is going to get tons more open looks here that he wouldn't otherwise get. The guy was jacking up 300-400 3 pointers a year while a starter in Chicago - that doesn't match rafer's magical 2006 season where he made run at the league record, unleashing 529 bombs, but it's a fairly high number. I'm guessing he was open for most of these shots or else I seriously doubt his shot selection. While he did have one very good season in 0607 in which he hit 41.5%, his trajectory since has been downward. If he can give you 40%+ with his salary at about 400 3 pointers a year he's probably worth it, as long as he does other things at a reliable rate. But thus far that's been the exception rather than the rule, which is why he's available.
I don't think DH, LJ or Kobe will come to Rockets in any case, even when great Tmac is here. How about Yao for Bosh now? Tmac +Bosh = 2 ring Or Yao for Wade, Tmac+ Wade = 1 ring Yao for Roy is also a good opinion, Tmac + Roy = WCF at least. Go to work, Morey
I do not how Morey can make trades by the dealine but I hope he does something. This trade would work but no way would the Bulls do it. I am just trying to see the reality of trading TMac and I do believe we will not be able to do it not unless Les is feed up with him. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...~3207~1981~2456&teams=4~10~10~10~10&te=&cash=
tmac + anything = fail. if this is not clear to you by now, then I dont know what you've been watching.
unless you're talking about wedding rings, you're dreaming. at this point, mcgrady + anybody = failure
