I know there's a lot of criticisms of this team... but the character of this team is really admirable... not just Landry alone, from the first guy to the fifteenth.

    If it is, my bad.

But I did not see it posted, but I didn't look very hard either.

dude's definitely not 6'9. even tmac's taller than him. landry's almost the same height as chuck. so he's most probably 6'7.

He looks to be the exact same height as Battier and McGrady when he stands next to him. I had the privilege of having some great seats one night and being about 10 feet from all three of them at once.

His NBA profile, as well as pre-draft measurements, have him at 6'9.

According to DraftExpress, Landry was 6'7.75" without shoes when they did pre-draft measurements. With shoes, he's listed at 6'8.5" which rounds up to 6'9" by NBA standards. Usually players are at least an inch taller with shoes so I'm not sure what's up with that. Jeff Green was the same height as Landry w/o shoes but was 6'9.5" with shoes. I suppose it depends on what kind of shoes you're wearing when they do the measurements.

I wish he is 6'9, but he is NOT. He definitely is shorter than Tmac and Battier (not to mention 6'9 Scola), and is only a tad taller than Chuck. If he was 6'9, he wouldn't be so undersized on defense so often.

He was listed 6'7 in college.

6'9 is his NBA height, i.e., with shoes. You are right about his actual height but if you want to compare him to other players, you have to take an inch off most every NBA players listed height.

He was measured at 6'7.75" without shoes at the pre-draft. I doubt they made a mistake.

The NBA generally uses height WITH shoes if it's available. Height with shoes is usually at least an inch taller than true height and rounded up. The NBA doesn't list half inches.

Landry is 6'8.5" with shoes. That rounds up to 6'9. His actual height is less but so is the actual height of most every other player in the league.

And Scola's TRUE height is 6'9. If he was measured with shoes, like the vast majority of other NBA players, he'd be listed on NBA.com, ESPN.com, etc... at 6'10. I don't believe he was ever measured with shoes because of when he came into the league. If you check out his Euro player profiles, he is listed at 206 cm and I believe they use true height in most cases overseas.
