i think they should increase the court height and have the bench below kind of like what they had at the NcAA game earlier this year. players can stand and dont obstruct the view at all. i wonder if most arenas could accomadate this its a simple fix, considering they can do so much with the toyota center when there are concerts.

Stopped reading after that. Seriously, that guy needs to retire. Just look at the Arenas incident. Stern does nothing when he was charged for bringing firearms into the locker room, but suspend him after he jokes about it. It's almost as if he doesn't care if a player breaks a law, but takes it personal when a player challenges his authority. I don't see Lebron getting suspended for going 105MPH at a 65MPH zone. I don't see Stephan Jackson suspended for firing into the air at a nightclub.
This is really ridiculous. Half of basketball is about the energy and raw emotion. Whats next: the crowd can't stand up?? Stern is going overboard with these silly rules.
