Or San Francisco. Shot in Oakland and shot with a anal pistol in San Fran. Just stay in your room Carl.
Doubt it, they just posted this article a couple of days ago. The Orlando game is tomorrow, they won't have enough time to get any practices or workouts. I'd say Friday is probably likely though.
read post 39 in this thread He practiced but will check with the doctor today to see if he's cleared.
Yesterday, when i was waiting for Yao to come out, Landry walked by all sweaty and stuff looking like he's ready too! good news!
We have a road trip to Sacramento on Thursday and then to San Francisco on Friday. Hopefully he can at least start on the game against the Kings. At least he should be back before the Hornets on Tuesday of next week.
It is not objective to get the hope too high. He needs more time to get his physical and mental wounds cured even he does return this Friday. Some people say Yao got killed by the jholes his last playoff. But I would say he had not regained his shape and energy level lost after he got hurt and had the operation. For a player, getting back from an injury is not as easy as switch-off/on. The player might be able to play, but can he play at the level desired? I still think the PG trade is not helpful, and Landry's incident has dimmed the Rockets' hope even more. Hope the Rockets are strong enough to tackle all obstacles on their way in this memorable NBA season. There is still very good chance they can go all the way.
thats true i think none of the stabbings hit any vital organs he was really lucky. i am pretty sure it also happened in the off season so he had plenty of time to recuperate and be ready for the season. not trying to say his comeback wasnt as amazing but landry is coming back from being shot a few weeks later during the season seems more of a amazing feat to me.
but we will need chuck in the playoffs to SHUT DOWN some pfs, i mean seriously he can SHUT DOWN players at times. also, anyone notice how chuck has been showing some beautiful moves lately? i mean absolutely beautiful spins, i've seen it 3 or 4 times the last few weeks. if he works on his finishing in the off season he may get some more pt, it would also help him get a contract somewhere else if we decide to release him anytime in the future...but back to landry! good to hear he is coming back, i've felt like we have needed him a few times, like the lakers or phx game, we missed his energy and scoring off the bench
According to 610 today, he practiced with the team without restriction. Now it just seems to be a matter of time before he is back in shape to play with the team. Said not tomorrow, but most likely by Friday.
It was a flesh wound, and the very initial estimate for time off was 1-2 weeks. So I wouldn't say him returning is an amazing feat. He's very fortunate that the wound wasn't more serious, and 3 1/2 weeks seems like a good amount of time for it to heal.
Yoa Ming: Yo, yo coach! Will Landry be ballin' when we go to the Westside, Yo?!! Rick Adelman: You're crossing the wrong fingers Yao. [/QUOTE]
thank god, it's nice to see that we'll have landry back in the lineup, although chuck played his *** off, we still need what landry brings to the table. scolandry back at it again. hopefully, he hasn't lost what he had before getting shot.
