Does anyone besides me think Rafer's presence on the court has helped Yao a lot? Rafer's court vision, penetration and ability to reward the open man has changed our 1/2 court offense, with Yao being the main beneficiary. I've said all along it would take a true PG on the court, along with Tracy, to bring out the best in Yao. Now he knows each and every time he fights hard and gets position, the ball will be coming. I think this is responsible for an extra 1-3 made FGs a game for Yao.

I can't remember when in the game it was but there was a play when Yao got the ball while in the low block and he basically waived his arm to everyone to clear out for him so he could make his move. Now that is something we have NEVER seen from Yao before and I hope to see more of in the future... :D

With all of these new moves Yao comming up with... Do you guys think somewhere along the line he thought to himself while training with Ewing, "man F8ck this, this **** ain't working imma go learn a better way to score!" After that everything Ewing says just doesn't get to him any longer. All he thinks about while training is those new moves he saw Hakeem do on video and how he can harness the move.

    You guys think so?

I am just glad that Yao is back so I can feel excited again when Rockets game is on. I remember a while back I didn't even want to know if Rockets were playing because we were doing so bad without him and I was really frustrated with the way how this season went. Please keep it up Yao.

Ewing: Yao, come on let's go practice your post moves.

Yao: Go train Lampe, I'm resting my toe.

might I suggest checking the thread that is labeled with [videos]
There is one that contains the knicks game clips.

it has both of those and more.
