Cade has had a disappointing beginning to his career. No one really says much about it because he has games and strings of games where he looks like he is on the verge of being a franchise type player. Still the reality is that he hasn’t done it and until he does - it’s a question. There is a good chance that one of Houston or Detroit ends up with either Wemby or Henderson and that team will likely be the best of the rebuilding teams.
For the many flaws Green has, most of them are fixable, except for the narrow shoulders and small frame. Lack of explosion on Cade's part is really concerning for him.
Kenny is not wrong the players are young but I don't see much improvement the defense is still bad the lack of smart decisions on offense is maddening and poor shooting compounds the issues. If we are tanking fine but we need to see some development in the young core and I am not sure that is happening much. Kj Martin has improved Sengun has improved but he stil struggles on defense and has trouble staying out of foul trouble. Jalen in inconsistent Porter still is erratic especially in his decision making. There is no offensive system Turnovers especially down the stretch has cost the team at least 5 games its probably more but with the other issues they would have found a way to lose anyway. Bad defense and the organizations insistence on playing small lineups is frustrating.
I don't disagree. I'm just saying what the Rockets have chosen as their path and they've been locked into for the season.
He is partially correct. Besides Sengun, I do not see any potential star-caliber player in the making and I hope I am wrong about this. Green has points stats but that's about it with him but even there he shoots horribly and is inconsistent. I think even the team sees this and another extreme tank in the books to try another shot at the draft to land a potential superstar.
