Some of you guys are acting like Adleman is a pee-wee level coach and will fail to see Yao is not Amare.

Adleman is a top NBA level coach and am sure knows how to run a team a little bit better then most of us posting on message boards.

A phoenix like offense with the best players suited to that offense, managed to get them sitting at home watching, just like the Rockets are.

A Phoenix like offense with the Rockets players won't even be that good.

Van Gundy was too measured and conflicted in his response to management. He thinks too much. It hurt him, and now he's dissapointed with the outcome. Oh well.

I don't think anyone can really be faulted with what happened. The media is trying to play this up like it's a big fiasco. It doesn't seem that way to me.

I think that when they say Phoenix-like offense, they mean an offense with back-side movement and cuts. An offense where players actually move around other than sitting around watching Yao or Tmac shot.

JVG would still be the head coach if he said YES to coaching when they first approached him.
