[Chron] Justice: Wafer has found an NBA home with Rockets

This is ridiculous. This team may not be loaded at the wing positions but for Von to get the substantial minutes he is getting says more about his game than it does about the Rockets lack of depth.

His offensive numbers are nice and they are efficient and he gets them in crucial minutes of the game. If any scrub could grab 10ppg in 20 minutes on 45% shooting from the SG position then why haven't we been able to find that guy until now?

 

Must be something in the air. A good column from Justice! Really enjoyed reading that.

 

There are not that many in the entire league. Von is very efficient, and then you compound that with his athleticism and aggression you get something unique....

If Von continues to develop, he could become an all star, he has that ability, and he is only 23......

Except some people on this forum thinks Von Wafer is the answer to TMac replacement, or he is somehow gonna lift us in the playoffs.

"King of Garbage Time" is just a nickname that someone came up with initially; I never said that he is not a good player. He has impressed me, but not to the degree that some of you are impressed.

I have watched every Rockets game this year; if really can't say the same thing, don't call others a noob.

 

It'll be funny if he signs elsewhere after the PO season.
