Jones seems to have all our main PF candidates beat when it comes to defense. Meanwhile, Robinson does have the better upside as well as being the best big man when it comes to moving with ball, although Jones and Motiejunas aren't that far behind. His raw talent however doesn't allow him much as Jones and Motiejunas have him beat defensively and offensively at the moment.

There is probably going to come a time when we have to choose to lose one of them but for the most part, we have 3 (4 if you count Smith as a PF) talented young big men for the position that while none are likely to grow into super stars, should grow into great players.

    I think it's better for a starter to be a 2-way player, and the back-up a one-way specialist.

Jones is by far more 2-way than T-Rob and DMo.

Although DMo is probably the most skilled still.

We're definitely going down the stretch with Jones. Championship and big-game experience, even if only college level, is valuable.

Jones has made big plays, and has been able to rally the crowd, in the last two games.

    fun fact:

Jones was rated higher by ESPN as a recruit out of high school than Robinson. Jones-97 (5 star) and Robinson-93 (probably 4 star).

This should be taken with a grain of salt since recruiting grades are always subjective. Also, they were recruited in different years and these grades might be relative measurements to the recruits of that year. Also worth considering is that its ESPN -_-

Terrence was our first player since Eddie Griffin to have 5 blocks and 3 steals in a game. That was over 11 years ago!

I think it depends who we play but it's clear T-Rob was given a small window to possibly show he's ready and he wasn't. Clearly has potential, but not quite at the level where he could be thrown into the rotation of a playoff team mid season.

T-Jones has paid his dues, worked hard and kept quiet. He has performed at least as well as any other PF currently on the roster. He should be in the rotation no matter who we play. T-Rob may be a slightly better defender and rebounder, but T-Jones seems to be a far better offensive player at this point. D-Mo is the best offensive player but easily the worst defender of the bunch.

Jones being a poor defensive JSmoove, Landry mix makes him a potential and a real fan fav

I'm sorry but out of the 3 D-Mo is the only one who can't create his own offense, and is the most inconsistent on offense.

I love TJones game, and I think Josh Smith is a good comp.

But dear God, can we please never see him at the 5 with Delfino at the 4? My eyes were bleeding watching that defense

Jones was great last night, but his 2 3pt attempts were excruciating. I had to lol when I watched.

This shows how dumb our coaches are. He was most ready at the beginning of the year. I been telling yall and you haters where laughing at me saying that Jones must not be good because the coaches wont play him. It wasnt any damn D-league either. Jones has played just like this both years at UK. Mcfu*kboy was just being hard headed because Jones was not his boy the r****d was his pick. We will probably get swept and it wont be on the players.

Seeing how much TJones has grown since his Kentucky days is very impressive. He has greatly improved his shot, handles, and strength. Not to fond of him shooting threes, but I think in a season or two he could improve that some.

Terrence Jones is the next Josh Smith with less perimeter and more post game.

This. People should use logic like this more lol. Terrence Jones is really coming out of his shell. Therefore, he should play more. Can't wait to see what is in store for him.

Dude was doing the same thing at Kentucky. He was the second best player on that team and there is no way they win a championship without him.

Tjones was nice last night his energy was through the roof. It was awsome, I think he can keep it up as the rockets Arnt asking him to do much. As long as he hustles blocks shots and runs the court he's the best of we have at the moment. As for dmo he just is lost out there on defense and can't rebound to save his life. He had a nice hook shot but other than that he was a waste IMO. Trob don't play much but had 3 really really nice passes and filled up the stat sheet in 4 min. Pretty impressive. He didnt force anything even though he could have since it was garbage time. I think he really wants to get back on the court with meaningful minutes. I guess we will see what happens tonight.

If I did my search right TJones was the first Rocket since Hakeem to have 5 or more blocks in back to back games. The last time Dream did it was in Feb of 1997.
