I don't think JH will match YAO, JH's defense is bad bad bad and YAO always in foul trouble.

Juwan Howard is a great guy to have on your team -- a smart, team-oriented hard worker who has a good locker room presence. I hope he comes back strong.

And -- no offense to Juwan -- I hope he comes back backing up a Bob Lanier-type guy like Theo Ratliff.

Howard coming off the bench with James and Deke would give the Rockets a good option on pick & roll, and a post-up presence.

Would be nice to get a Deke style 4(rebounding, defense) to use while Yao is in there, then when Yao comes out and Deke goes in, you switch the 4s to get more offense in there.

But the Rockets need that banger/athletic 4 first.

I guess the headline editors vetoed "Howard: 'Please Don't Trade Me.'"

JH is a good player and a classy guy, but I truly hope the Rockets deal him this summer. I don't want to have to pay him for the next 4 seasons, we just got rid of MoT and it's basically the same situation.
