Didn't this catch anyone else's attention? Though far from definitive, this quote right here seems to suggest that TroyBaros may not have been too far off on Steve's initial feelings about drafting Yao.

From Yao's perspective at that time, how about that for support from a future teammate?

    moomoo,

Clutch confirmed that there was an issue. He said that in Troy's first thread.

I agree. Francis was most definitely waiting until the WC to decide on the extension. But Troy was saying that Francis just flat out didn't want him, no matter how good. And, that We Will Pick Mike Dunleavy #1 thread was just ridiculous.

Oh really? I missed that then. Even so, isn't this the first public statement by Steve that suggests that he did have issues with drafting Yao? Until this, all his public sentiments towards Yao were positive, or at least neutral, weren't they?

I guess my point is that we, I mean the Rockets, may not be as much of a big, happy family as I thought. Hopefully though, their relationship will continue to improve.

    (i.e. grow up Steve)

Man, here, 2 things get chicks:

    Cell Phones and Plate numbers.

Once you have those two, you just have to look better than Beavis OR Butthead.

I am just sorry EG was not among them. In fact, the plays for Ming should work almost the same for EG, given his length. Of course his hands are not as good and so is his footwork.
