Actually I don't think we'd be worse for it. The reason why Jeffries looked like a breath of fresh air the other night is because he does the things that Chuck does and with Chuck being out those tangibles were missing. Having a Chuck Hayes and a Jared Jeffries both with a significant role is way too much offensive impotency! While I agree that Hill has been extremely inconsistent, I think he will perform better off the bench perhaps even playing more with Patrick and feeding off his energy.
We need him back... but even with him we still are nowhere near where we all want to be (playoffs, contenders, etc.)... we need to package these average/above average bigs for someone that can actually play two way ball. keep ppat - trade hill, jeffries, battier, chase for anyone that can play both sides.
Awesome! I cant wait to get our 6'6 center back he really protects the rim well........ Honestly he kind of reminds me of Dwight!
Wait, he's saying this? What do the trainers say? *Why do players make these sort of comments about when they think they can return? Isn't that up to the physicians, doctors and other staff like this? What about Keith Jones, Biles or (when it's serious) Walter Lowe...? At least say "such and such doctor says I could return in such and such time", for example. I just find it odd that he has to say "a lot of people I have to go through for me to get on the court"... dude, isn't this obvious? Anyway... get well, Chuck.
Not only that, but it would be a good idea to let him return then rather than tomorrow. Give him more time to rest that ankle.
