    I agree- we still have time to grab a faster gear now. Tough defense will win us games.

    I have not given up on Bonzi- he will be playing like crazy here on out for a contract and to shine in the playoffs.

    In the games we lost, why did we lose? Are they just better teams than we are or were we just outcoached? Was it cause of injuries? We never had a complete roster but I dont think that makes a difference when you only have a 8 man rotation. Personally, I think its coaching like substitutions and time management and overall game plans.

    keep in mind that yao didn't play in the first 4 of those games and the cleveland game was his first in 3 months. the rockets played well without him for a long stretch but clearly hit a wall a few weeks before his return.

    the numbers there aren't pretty but certainly it would be more wise to analyze games with yao then without him when trying to determine how good this team can be.
