That's not entirely true. To all fairness, Hayes played out of his mind for us this past season, whether that is a credit to JVG or to chucky himself is debatable. But it's true that JVG never got anything out of the rookies when he really should.

Has he ever had the likes of TMac or Yao?

The story also says Sam Mitchell.

If Sam Mitchell was our coach this year I think we miss the playoffs.

Yes, he had Clyde who was better than both.

The Kings would love to get rid of Bibby and his $14MM contract. They want him to opt out, but after the poor season he had he realizes it would take 2-3 seasons to get that $14MM back. Bibby may never be the player he used to be but I would love to have him as our starting PG.

My guess is he will stay in Sactown until the trade deadline next season. They will get a "King's" Ransom for him.

and maybe a webber signing... though he has lost his quickness and athleticism he can still score one-on-one, rebound, and pass.

webber and yao playing hi-low post in the princeton offense sounds sweet to me.

I suspect this is a leftover from when Adelman coached SAC and had Pete Carrill (legendary coach at Princeton) as an assiatnat. Here's an interview:

Exactly Chris Webber and Peja arent even close to T-Mac and Yao. Sure he may have a superior team talent overall but nothing compare to our 1-2 punch. I bet if he coaches us next year, our offensive efficiency rating goes through the roof. T-Mac is the most versatile player in the league, how many other guys can play the PG position like him and then guard someone like Dirk Nowitski?

Looks like the wheels are turning on JVG's exit, bringing in Adelman is a good choice, let's hope he brings in some good players and deals with the problem that is the Rockets bench.

If Adelman DOES decide to deploy a Princeton offense here (if he signs here anyway), players will be moved (no brainer)...specifically Rafer. It just takes a little bit more discipline and control to run a Princeton offense and Rafer (or even Mike James) would be our answer at point guard.

IF Tracy is so good why did he disappear vs. Derek Fisher? I don't understand how anybody can't realize tha there are chinks in the armor after McGrady's umpteenth playoff failure in a row. I know we're all Rockets fans but when I see people sweating him like he's a top 5 player I just laugh. I mean yeah Dirk flamed out in the first round. this year but at least it represented a change from past seasons.

And oh yeah, Webber in his prime was a better passer and rebounder than Yao , though Yao is a better post player and scorer.

Van Gundy offense >>>>>>>> Princeton Offense

If you thought the current Rockets are boring to watch...

if history is any indication, there's a good chance that the Rockets miss the playoffs with Adleman anyway. Adleman's got a bad record in his first year of coaching his new team. I could be wrong though, I just remember seeing it in one of his coaching profiles

He also had Bibby who's a PG who ran his system to perfection, and played at as high of a level as T-mac or Yao played at in their best playoff runs.

I remember a Sacramento team that had pretty good movement that led to some pretty open buckets.

Right now, the only thing that is worse than Van Gundy offense is pulling out your own teeth...with an X-acto knife.

It takes a team to lose a playoff series. Despite his playoff record, Tmac is a playoff player. He just doesn't want to finish. I think he's 4th all-time in playoff scoring average? I could be wrong, but that's another conversation.

I agree with your point of view on Webber. I wouldnt mind Webber here at all next year. Good compliments to each other
