Why do you assume someone who acknowledges Beverley's story doesn't want Jeremy to succeed? I don't understand why people automatically assume you cannot support them both and want them both to succeed.

Like I've said Bev is an underdog, but some of the stuff you're saying is not true.

He got drafted by the Lakers even though he played in Ukrainian League, which at that time was not the same as Ukrainian Super-League (top level of competition). Lakers then traded his draft rights to Miami. Miami stashed him in Europe for a year (Olympiakos). When he returned, Miami signed him to $1.5 million 2-year fully guaranteed contract. They waived him when the pre-season ended, he averaged around 6pts and 3ast in 20mpg.

It's not how you start, it's how you finish and we've been experiencing finishing issues in games in the past. I think Bev replaced Lin in the 4th quarter last season when he was showing signs of wearing down, turning the ball over and not shooting well or defending well. If Lin finishes in the 4th quarter when it matters and does well, I'm all for him not starting. I just assumed Bev was a good spark plug off the bench, especially with his ninja defense.

 

No, I never said the situation is comparable in terms of actual basketball situation. I asked, "what is he gonna say if......?" I didn't have comparison in mind at all. What I had in mind was the statement he made. I think your class concept has gotten to you too much, like this and this cannot be put in the same sentence kinda thing.
