really? you're gonna play the second round virgin card on last season?

Where was Yao? AGAIN? I know, I know, I'm just a Tmac apologist making excuse for his first round exits. Sure. He lost all 7 series by himself, and Kobe and Lebron won all their series by themselves. why even try to use basic common sense? that has no bearing here.

Trade Tmac, cut him, release him. I actually hate the guy now. Sick of hearing about Tmac everything.

Dont forget that Wade is 3 years younger, and came into the leauge when he was 21. Mac was 18. 3 seasons in college, playing less games, less minutes, and against smaller, slower, and weaker opponets, could have vastly benefited Grady.

lets see where Wade is in 3 years......physically.

leebigez where are you? come here quickly, some are pulling yao and shane into this mcgrady discussion. why don't you come and police them? lol.

this interview by feigen is useless. no new info. and all politically correct stuff by wade. all it does is more negative talk and divide b/w different camps of fans. what ever changes?

It doesnt matter what other people say whether its wade, lebron or kobe. Like wade said, its very difficult to rehab 2 injuries. It doesnt matter what i say, people will believe what they want. For his sake, he shouldve just rehabbed until he was ready no matter how long it took, let the team play how theyre going to play, then come back. Then we wouldn be here talking about the same stuff everyday.

True... But they would have complained about something else.....

People who hate McGrady will hate him no matter what... People who hate Yao will hate him no matter what...

can you name one thing shane has improved in his game since he entered the league?

if his effort and work ethic are so great, name me ONE THING that he has improved dramatically over his NBA career b/c his defense has always been good even from the duke days.

and he probably will. tracy should only return when he has zero mental block with that knee. that's the biggest hurdle.

physically, he can only do so much. mental is the toughest part.

I am disappointed in you T_mac1........
I guess some just do not see the greatness of Shane Battier.........
Put me with Coach K and Gundy in that Shane Battier is one of the best
players I have ever seen play the game.........He just gets better and better...

If you had watched him in Memphis you would see that.........or maybe, not.....
Hint: It is far beyond numbers, but I guess a "Tracy-fan" could not understand that.

And he is in a very good position now. I mean, he is 'not ver needed'. It is not like in the past, when Head was his backup. Now we have Wafer, who can put the pressure on the defense, and yes, this team can win in the regular season with Von instead of Mac.

It is not like: Tracy come back as soon as possible, cause we need wins. Now, he can take his time.

BTW, Worrell said last night they hope he can return on Monday in NY.

maybe rose will be in rox then. :p
dang, if only Tmac is as bad as everyone think he is.

we be celebrating rose, instead of criticizing rafer/AB.

and yet in your post you failed to name one single thing shane has gotten better in.

shane is like a bruce bowen with a better shot. and look at what draft position shane was drafted in (a franchise player draft position). he was college player of the year on the best team in college basketball. he is 6-8 with decent athleticism, great IQ of the game... and yet one of the most one-dimensional players you have ever seen.

i can watch shane's game at duke and his rocket games now and see very little difference in terms of skill.

notice knote23, i am not criticizing his effort IN THE GAME. he's one of the hardest working players WHEN HE PLAYS. i'm simply asking if his work ethic is so great, how come his game hasn't taken up a notch?

isn't that a legit question to ask? and please, tell me when JVG ever said shane gets better and better? (i've seen him say shane is one of the best players to play in the game IN TERMS OF EFFORT yes and i'm not doubting that).

If people are using Shane Battier to defend T-Mac consider that Battier's role on this team is far different from T-Mac's and if it was expected that Battier was going to provide a lot of the offensive load then yes he should be criticized for not having greater numbers but Battier has never been about being one to cary the offense in the NBA. He was brought here for his hustle and his defense and that is what he has delivered on. T-Mac is here for his explosive offense and while Battier has generally continued as a defender we've seen T-Mac decline as a scorer.
