Agree also! Time isn't really on his side - he's got until the end of this season to prove it to the Rockets, but it seems like he's going to be given a chance. The other side of the coin might be that he is being included in some trade, and needs to be on the active roster for that to happen (ie, can't be assigned to the DLeague?) He's got the tools to be helpful for this team, just a matter of whether his brain is in gear.
This is good for Dorsey IMO, it is not like he was improving in the D league, he was just doing what he had always done in college, playing against lesser players.
i think this definitelt is the deciding part of dorsey's career here...i can't see him getting more chances if he doesn't show signifcant improvement. I do expect him to get some times, although limited, he can't be any worse on offense than DA is on defense. And he's not as good as Hayes defensively, but should rebound better and should do better offensively..
I kinda think he sucks,I was jus nvr impressed my him. I thot he wld b better den he is but na..hopefully he does Play good so we cn showcase him 2 gt bosh ina trade
Home stand coming up gives the rockets an extra body in practice and lets the coaches see if he has gotten better with his PT in the d league. I wouldn't necessarily read into that a trade is pending
Wait wait wait wait. I'm the ONLY one here who thinks Dorsey was called up because small contracts have to go out with Tmac in order to balance out the rosters when the dust settles? I mean, really? (Or, yes, one of our bigs is outta here in a trade, but God help us if Dorsey Six-Fouls takes his spot.)
I like Joey, he's a good player, just needs some work on scoring... but man he is a beast... glad he's back!
Yes! He is the best of the worst! But seriously, I have been waiting forever to see this beast on the court for more than 2mins. I hope he can finally do well.
If Dorsey doesn't pan out, he might become the first bust in Morey history (bust for a early second round of course)
I think it means Scola Or Landry is getting traded. Whatever team that gets T-mac's expiring contract also wants some type of asset, Scola or Landry.
my $0.02 negotiations are heating up. proposals involve losing at least one of our key bigs. Adelman wants to evaluate Dorsey to see if he can play any minutes on the team to make that sacrifice possible.
I don't think dorsey is ready for NBA level play, maybe that is only a showcase for him, would he be involved in the bosh trade?
