    Codman tantalized us with:

Morey is busier than any of us can imagine, even if nothing goes through...Morey loves flexibility with money. Unlike other GM's he'll let a guy walk instead of trading him...Our boys are pretty happy right now, but we need some more rhythm. Like any flock, some guys aren't always going to be happy with their role. There's always going to be that big brother that still wants his time to shine. He may no longer be the MJ of his team, but he sure can be a Pip in his prime. (No, I don't like Quitten btw). It's nice that our team doesn't have a problem with egos, but wouldn't it be nice to have another hard-nosed, James-type on the team? I dunno...I just think we deserve some luck as Rocket fans. Must be these Red Hot 7 ticket I'm scratching with a penny. Wish me luck.

We're looking for another leader in this pack. I'm sure Morey is busting his ass right now to keep up. We all should take some breaths haha

And King Drew? He responded to Codman's:

    Somebody got kind of hot

    with:

If your referring to who I'm hearing then yes. Volcanic proportion

I said smoke will start around all-star break and its about to

King Drew leaning us toward Boston; I don't think Codman gave us specific teams to look at.

Doc Rocket and Cyberx have been absent for the last week or so.

    "THESE red Hot 7 ticket"?

Ersan and Lin wear #7. Lin is red hot right now while Ersan is "that big brother that still wants his time to shine... no longer the MJ of his team"? But then again, I don't think "hard-nosed James-type" applies.

One thing about morey is he remains flexible and always preaches this. Only problem I see is lins contract & he’s been trying to move that for a while now from what we hear. I’m still a firm believer that canaan, brooks and camby were signed this summer for depth & flexible cap purposes.

    potential cap space $21,290,000

    2014-2015 contracts
    asik $8.3
    Lin $8.3
    Brewer $1.3 (team option)
    Casspi $1.0 (team option )
    Greg smith $0.0 (expires) 2013-2014 was $890K
DMO $1.5 (easy to move for a 2nd round pick if needed)

That's not how you figure cap space. Read Larry Coon's FAQ on the collective bargaining agreement. It's online.

not exactly, but this is a good way to have an understanding of what could be available, of course the $$$ is not accurate you have to have a certain amount of players on your roster but getting cap space for the summer is not as hard as some may think.

Yes hes what the team needs.. We dont need more scorers.. We score plenty of points.. Rondo averages 10-12 assist a game when healthy..
less turnovers than LIN, thats for sure and rebounds/steal are better than lin

Wow, now that's an out-of-the-box thought. It kind of makes sense though. If I were the Heat GM, I would definitely be looking to move D-Wade while he still has value. Lin, Asik and picks/prospects would be a good haul, filling a couple of gaps in their lineup. Interesting...

Total David Justice moneyball type move...

It crossed my mind. "Not the MJ of his team anymore", but I honestly have no idea why the Heat's management would risk their chance at the title this year by trading away their 2nd best player. How does trading Wade, or Chris Bosh for that matter, away benefit the Heat? I just don't see it.

yea i kept thining about all this clues and trying to see who fits that MJ now Pippen clue and for some reason i kept coming back to Dwayne Wade, and again They were going after Bynum hard, but the Pacers got him, so im sure they want a Center bad.

I think the Heat know that the Pacers are a true contender, and could easily beat them with their style of play.. They need a true Center to stop Hibbert/West and now Bynum..

Not trying to set the board on fire but m this sounds like a trade for Lebron James . I honestly don't think this can be done unless Harden is traded, but I really don't see that happening...we'd have to trade at least Asik, Lin and Parsons to even start the conversation!

But certainly we'd have to do more than Asik. Lin and Asik are the only things that would make the salaries work. I don't think that's enough value back for Wade.

If it's a Heat player Codman is alluding too, it's Dwayne Wade, not Lebron.

This would also explain the "He may no longer be the MJ of his team" part.

If Miami wants to keep Lebron around, they're going to need to give him a younger, and better, supporting cast. One way to do that is to trade Wade for 2-3 guys in the next three days. Another way is to trade Bosh. The "He may no longer be the MJ of his team" would also apply for Bosh.

A trade for either Wade or Bosh means Morey is going for it, this year.
