    The Van Gundy connection? Oh wait, I forgot Stan was sacked. Maybe it's the Riley-Gundy syndrome that was originated from the unwatchable Knicks ball back in the '90s?

    the funniest thing about opening night to me is that the aquisition of battier was supposed to shore up defense, and help on rebounding. it did neither.

    the best decision I thought the 04-05 team made was just resign themselves to the realization that they weren't gonna be a tough rebounding defensive team. they went with big minutes from sura, and barry, and padget, and wesley because there best shot was outscoring everyone. twenty games into this season, they will probably come to the same realization. especially if bonzi doesn't work out.
