Do you believe CD is the one responsible for JVG's dismissal? What is your take on JVG's firing?

but you are forgetting the FACT that ewing wasnt tutoring yao. Ewing was simply an assistant coach. Tom was actually yaos tutor.

So adelman must be lazy too, b/c he's hiring people he's comfortable with right?

    horrible reasoning.

Ewing was an assistant coach for WHAT? He was clearly brought in to coach Yao. What has he done? Why was he on the bench? Having a good seat to look at the RPD?

I'm not sure that Adelman has hired a "tutor" for Yao yet. He may not hire an official one at all. CD made the offer to coach Yao to Adelman just as he made it to JVG. Adelman said yes. JVG said no. It's as simple as that.

Easy! You realize you are responding to the Head of the JVG fan club. It may even be Jeff himself. You can't win this argument. If JVG is arrested naked with Ryan Bowen and a circus midget tomorrow, he would argue the police are lying. Give it up, you can't win!!

thats funny because it was tom who was constantly working with yao.

i dont know what went on, but CDs position now is much different than he was previously.

Thanks. Coming from you, that's a compliment. My opinion is different than yours so of course I would have nothing of substance to say. If I were to post, all we would see is a comment declaring you are the know all-end all master when it comes to all matters Rockets. Like many posters before me have said and tried to warn me, nobody will get the last word in on you in any posting because you can't be wrong and you can't shut up. If me warning someone, as a courtesy, who is in the throws of another of your incoherent rants is not of substance, it at least may well save some poor soul from wasting brainpower fighting you. This may make room for somebody to post who doesn't spend the day preaching all things JVG and arguing with everybody. If it would only work, my post would be of great substance.

I thought it was two red headed circus midgets and a naked Ryan Bowen. HPD has some secret photos hidden away, but the word is the Red Rowdies consist of a couple of the arresting officers and they were given season tickets as part of the cover up! :D

P.S. For some reason JVG had grease all over his bald head, his stomach, and his rear end! :D

Funny. Glad somebody took it as a joke! As long as Bowen continued to be a Rocket when he clearly should have been sweeping the streets always made me wonder who had something on who.

You jumped into the jvg love thing, homey. The best part is that i didnt even mention JVG name! Seems you have the infatuation. So please, dont bring your trash at me again.

its also funny that you didnt even address the issue i orginally started with! you just turned it into some jvg love/hate. Seems a lot of you that really dont know what your talking about just blame jvg and think it will be all good because he's gone.

so you think just because someone was a great player means they will be a great teacher?

and ewing wasnt yaos "tutor". Tom was.

Ewing was brought in to work with Yao. If you think any different you are wrong since there are many articles including this interview from 2003 that states that fact.

    http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/sports/2001824589_conversation28.html

Seattle Times: I never thought you'd coach, because you once said you didn't have the patience for it.

Patrick Ewing: The work is definitely a lot harder because your hours are longer. As a player, you come in about an hour before practice, you practice, then you leave. As a coach, you come in very early. Watch film. Get ready for practice. Practice. Stay three, four, five hours after practice and get ready for the next one.

ST: So you'd rather play, then?

PE: Oh yeah. And the money is a whole lot better.

ST: You're not going broke, are you?

PE: Nothing like that, but I can't afford the same types of suits. I'm on a budget for the first time in a long time.

ST: You've had some pretty good coaches. I'm thinking of John Thompson at Georgetown, but how much better would you have been had you had a Hall of Famer as a position coach like Yao (Ming) now has?

PE: I really don't know. I learned a lot from all of my coaches. ... All I can do is teach Yao or tell Yao things that I think can help him, or things I've used to help me.

ST: How good can Yao be?

PE: Very good. He's 7-5 or 7-6. He has great potential. He's a good player now.

Nice effort and Find. Doesn't matter though. He is going to call you a liar or say you made up the article. Save your breath and put him on the ignore list while you still have your sanity!!

Ewing did spend time with Yao at the start, but I believe that job was given to Thibodeau pretty quickly when it was determined that Ewing did not have the committment to break everything down to the details. I remember Yao saying that Ewing talks more in general terms and he was learing more of the details from Mutombo.

no more 8 turnover games was cd's thing to yao...yao has had two 8 turnover games in his career with a career high of 10 in his 3rd year. hakeem had 16 8 turnover games in his career with a high of 11 turnovers...if anyone wants more of a breakdown...i can do it for you. so why didnt cd teach hakeem not to turn the ball over? hes a joke.

Um, in all honesty, I don't care if Howdy ****ing Doody is working with Yao right now. The finals were what, a week ago? And he's already working out in Toyota Center. HELL yes. Man I love Yao.
