Agreed you can not blow up the team and progress. Plus getting richardson and fernandez would not work since they both want to start. Thats the whole reason he wants to get out of portland.
There is a guy named leebigez that have said this for the longest. He has been bashed countless times, but he remains steady on the construction of modern nba play. Last draft, he wondered why the great gm didn't pick that 7ft 20 yr old center who is mobile and athletic. He has questioned many times why the team gave away a lotto pick for a standstill , declining player. This insightful guy has said many times that the rockets need players who can play with and without yao. They should be able to transition well off rebounds, blocks and steals as well as attack the rim off a kick out from yao. That leebigez guy must be pretty smart
You know I dont know how good this years rocket team will be.....but im really looking forward to watching them play this year. Im actually more interested in watching them play this year then some years in the past when they had more talent.
Yes, Keep the faith. Its a pity that a lot are giving up on this team this year. This team was built to compete and are just a few pieces away from making a serious run at it this season.
I agree, I think he's be perfect for our system. Not sure we would ever be able to pry him out of their hands.
I so hope you are right; he has been so wildly inconsistent. One game he is an All Star; next game, he is a ghost. Some consistency, please.
