    When he has good position down low I want to hear him say "Give me the Fkn ball" instead of allowing his teammates jack up contested 3's.

    I guess that the author in chron.com wants to more leadership role from Yao, and to talk more on the court. The problem for Yao is that he has his own problems like the high TOs, the fronting issue which prevents him to do more his role for speaking out. Yao is the guy who wants to lead as an example first, then starts to talk more, but that is just my guess.
