The bottom line last night was missed layups and turnovers. Got to make the lay ups, wow, I lost count of the missed lay ups and Yao and Scola were the main culprits. Got to make those lay ups. They are point blank shots.

i disagree about AB being the reason why we lost.

i mean, yes, AB sucked on defense and he should get SOME heat for that, but i think Steve Blake is extremely underrated.

i just remember last season, the guy was torching it up behind the line with less than a minute left in the game, against the Rockets. it's just unfortunate that he came back to haunt us as a Laker this time around. Blake is just a clutch shooter in the 4th quarter.

 

What? He got hot, let's not make him out to be something he really isn't....he and Shannon Brown got hot, while the Rockets cooled off, it happens.

Great analysis by just about everyone. I hope the Rockets, as a team, have learned from their mistakes and give us all a good game tonight against the Warriors. Let's see where they go from here.

 

Martin also to blame too, letting Brown heat up at the wrong time.

 

The bench brigade is what lost us the game. Yeah, those missed plays by Brooks and Martin's foul trouble were factors. But the bench gave up everything and worked us into a deficit. It does prove how valuable Lowry is to this team. (wink)

Meanwhile, Brooks was -10 and Martin was -13.

no lowry did go against Paul and did an admirable job containing him when brooks got in early foul trouble in the first half and then again in the 3rd quarter

not sure what happened in the fourth though

to be honest i stopped watching after the 3rd because i figured the Rockets would lose it in the fourth

Something is missing in the locker room and having one team captain who's struggling, getting benched at crunch time, and another who's getting ejected because he lets things get to him too easily, bottles them up, and then sort of snaps, isn't the best combo to have leading pep talks. Scola's not a great defender, but his complete lack of defense comes from being so damn paranoid about opposing players driving to the rim at will. He's too damn competitive and that's the kind of player they need heading the locker room.
