LOL! I have never said trading Novak is a smoke.

IMO, I am not sure if the Rockets should do it if they dont have a shooting 4 in place.

But overall, it's better than someone who think a 54th pick of college senior can make the team.

That's a stupid reason to think he can't make the team. Because he played four years of college?

I don't know that he will make the team, but his age isn't going to be why.

stupid reason? I only play the %. I think that's a good enough reason.

I give a 54th overall pick a better % to make it to a team if he's a freshman or like before, a high school kid.

I dont even understand why u call me stupid if u dont even know the f**king % of a 54th overall pick that make to a team and become a rotational player especially the player is a senior.

Someone says: we have a backup plan for Novak - Leunen.
You say: 'yeah right, Leunen will never play NBA'
I say: actually Leunen can pretty well do what Novak will - so technically he IS a backup plan - but will play OS according to Morey
You say: oh yeah? Well Novak is a game winner and you stupid idiot you want Barrea to make the team

    come off the grass mate...

I still think your original post was pretty stupid since Leunen showed he can stroke it from NBA range.
That's pretty well the only skill required to make Novak expendable (which doesn't mean Novak WILL go or that Leunen WILL make the roster).

    Leunen is cover for Novak
You said 'no way man' - what does he not cover  You think Leunen can't shoot? Or do you think Novak can do something else?

If a freshman or high school kid drops to the 54th pick of the second round, then, by the percentages they are highly unlikely to make any team. Simply because people take fliers on young kids early in the second round.

A lot of seniors get shunted to the second round because the 'potential' of the young guys keeps them out of the first round.

Of course you would realise that Landry and Novak were seniors picked in the second round...

Playing the percentages is fine, if you give a reason for it that matters. Age isn't the only determining factor in deciding if a player can progress or not. I didn't call you stupid I called saying that a senior has less of a chance at the 54 spot than anyone else at the 54 spot stupid.

Thank you... more examples... Chuck, undrafted. Boozer, second round.

That was my point exactly. Thank you for saying it more eloquently than me.
