I got the same feeling. The guy just needs a break from eating dirt every Sunday. I think he's in a good situation and that should do him well.

Wouldn't it be cool to play the Panthers, have Carr start and sack his ass something like 10 times. What would he blame? The Line?

Or is it that he's a head case that has happy feet and can't get rid of the ball??

regardless of his poor play at qb and the myriad of reasons behind that, he really is a class act.

i hope he turns out to be a good player one day

David Carr is not a Houston Sports figure... although he DID play here, it's not fair to take this space from the team where he used to be.

Be fair... I can't believe it has gone this far without someone calling this out; then, I'll be the first one to say:

This is in the wrong forum.

    I second this motion:
We'll see him become better. I really HATE this.

    EDIT
I love this... coming back from the tunnel just to greet this kid... AMAZING... I wished ALL players were like this:

Taking it farther.. I know he's gone, but this sheds some light on the mental aspect of Carr's last couple years here...

Carr Talk: Nothing could be finer

From Panther's website... read between the lines on this one, and you see there was some resentment building not only toward him, but from him.

If he blossoms in Jake's wake... let's just say it would not have happened in Houston. Glad he got out.

Meanwhile, the Texans really might make the playoffs this year...why? Because the Pacman is out, for one, and because VY will be exposed over the course of the year, and the Colts will slack off. ;)

This is kinda bad.. but I don't want him to do too well without us.

For me it's like when you get out of a relationship with a girl, you still like her.. but you also don't want her to be too happy with whoever the new guy is. :D
