Yep. I truly thought Kubiak was going to completely change the personnel decision making of this team but the players we have gotten so far (and the money given to them) has Casserly written all over it.

I can't get over $6.4 million for a 3rd WR, especially one that's unproven. I'd rather the team use that money for part of a Burleson compensation package.

I'm with MadMax on this one. The Texans should rename the team the "Houston WTFers", because I can't figure out the logic on anything they do. Sage Rosenfels is a nice guy (met him at the Rookie Shoot), but that's all I can say about him.

if you want to put pressure on dave, bring in kitna..pay a couple million more and bring someone in who can legitimately make david carr feel like he might be spending some time on the bench if he doesn't get it done. i don't think sage gets it done in that regard. not any more than banks did.

Walter is the move that most intrigues me. I expect him to be the starter unless the Texans get "lucky" and acquire someone like Keyshawn. I've never really noticed Walter on the field, but he is supposedly a big guy that can make catches while being covered....a drastic departure from the previous receivers that played with AJ. The exception is Armstrong who is still on the roster.

The deal reeks of a scout or a new head coach saying, "we got to get this guy" instead of a GM trying to be smooth because its excessive even for Cass's standards if he was operating in a vacuum. Scouting hasn't been the Texans strong suit, so I'm hoping it is the coach.
