Bummer! I wouldn't want to take a chance on Chase having a lingering injury (ankles killed us last season, with Battier and Artest both being slowed with injuries for quite some time), so if he has to sit, then so be it. We'll manage.

That doesn't mean all the other 14 players on their roster are Kobe Bryant's and dump 40 points on "da midgets".... ?????

    WTF closet Fakers fan.

Did you see the game last night? Sefalosha was stifling on D against Kobe and we have arguably two of the best defenders in the league. Duh.

They've actually been playing like every game is supposed to be given to them cause they're the champs and every call as well.

I don't think that type of mentality is going to get them past teams like the Spurs, Blazers, Celtics, or Magic.

I honestly think these guys are going to understimate us and chalk it up as another win thru the schedule. Regardless of our record.

I hope they do underestimate us, but probably won't as they've played our team four times in the playoffs. They should know us by now. They played OT last night and Kobe has the flu, so hopefully they haven't prepared at all. We could take them by surprise again.

Btw, there's nothing wrong with coasting at the start of the season. The spurs are notorious for their slow start and deep rotations. Sometimes Pop will even bench Duncan, Parker, and Manu for a game, just to get them some rest. The regular season just does not matter to them.

You obviously didn't watch the game. Neither team played like crap, they both played well and had multiple players in double digit scoring, many before the OT.

Right you are way bigger Rockets fan than me and everyone else on this board.

Do your homework, the Lakers will not be ready for us tonight. Point blank.

The great thing about the Rox, doesnt matter who is injured, they will find a way as a team. Budinger has been playing great, but I am sure whoever they plug in will give the effort to keep this machine rolling. When you rely on a star and he goes out, then its a problem. On any given night, any player on this team can be the star.

Brian Cook is actually becoming underrated with the way he's villainized here.

Just because they nearly lost last night doesn't mean they won't be ready for us. How you can make such a definitive statement is beyond me.

I hope we get to see Jermaine Taylor play today. I think he could give a lift off the bench in the scoring department.
