It's not because of the private jet, it's because of the time difference.

He'll be there for the tipoff. Here's two reasons why...

    1) The Lakers are notorious for talking about players being injured or unavailable for X amount of time. But, lo and behold, they somehow magically show up for the game (especially against the Rockets).

    2) The Rockets aren't lucky. They weren't lucky when JJ missed his game-winner in game 1. They weren't lucky when Steve missed his game-winner in game 4. They weren't lucky when a scoreboard malfunction caused JJ to hug the rebounded ball instead of trying to score in game 4. If either Memphis or New York had won a single game, the TV schedule and tipoff time would have been bumped 30 minutes in our favor. But Rockets aren't lucky, and both series' were sweeps. And they're not going to be lucky this time, either.

    Kobe will be there.

I concurr. Kobe will play tonight. Phil and co is just trying keep JVG second guessing on preparations for the game. I'm sure JVG knows that Kobe will play.

I was hoping some of the people who have a say on the schedule were Rockets fans.:D

Anyway, all this is just smoke screen. Phil is just playing his mind game again. Don't worry, JVG never trusts whatever he says.

I think he will be pretty much in time for tip off, but they may have him walk in late just to rev up the crowd. They love their accused rapist very dearly.

Worst is when 610's ESPN report called it "Sexual Harrassment Charges" today!
Id say there is a big difference betweeen sexual harassment and rape!

Actually, in Texas laws, there is no rape. It falls under "aggravated sexual assault."

I just saw on TV that Kobe got out of court at 4:07 mountain time (3:07 Pacific time).

He has 4 hours to get on the court. Plenty of time.

    Told ya.
