Not everybody. I haven't seen Brooks or Chuck Hayes slam one in. I don't even think Chuck has that kind of lift.
I think they are unstoppable in the half court also. With today's rules, all you have to do is run into the big man, fall down, and get 2 free throws.
They both dunked yesterday. It was hilarious when Chuck threw one down. He immediately took himself out of the game.
Brooks shouldn't get the start by default, if his decision making is not up to par then I hope that they sit him. His offense will be important but if people are saying that the team needs his offense, then we will have complaints similar to when T-Mac played. And T-Mac was and still is the better option in that role until Brooks consistently proves otherwise. I know that he didn't start the entire season but his assists have to be better as our PG than this... http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=3192 And I still say if T-Mac comes back in good shape, there is a good chance that we will see Lowry with him in the back court. Brooks's decision making will be a huge factor in that decision as well. Let the best PG for the team win!!
The role of traditional PG is not what this Rockets team needs as a starter, we need guys who can score the ball, a triple threat. Brooks is that guy....Lowry is not bad either, we are lucky to have them both, but Brooks is clearly the starter. DD
LOL, well we need Aaron to score this year, the Rockets success depend on him so it's a no brainer. In the past we had scoring options, so it was at least debatable.

Chuck Hayes dunked on a fast break when Sura was playing. Barry threw many oops to Brooks. Are you really a rockets fan to make a quote like that The only guy in the NBA with experience I haven't really seen dunk is steve nash.
I was about to ask if anybody's seen Nash dunk. I don't know if I've ever seen him elevate more than a foot off the ground.
This statement is just wow.. Idk what to say about that. Ok they are pros i give you that but how many of them are actually nice?? Just because you can dunk doesn't really mean anything. Look at Stromile Swift for example. Guy can dunk and jump and still sucks. Steve Nash can't dunk ( or altleast i don't think he can ) and he is a hell of a player. Yao can dunk but doesn't dunk and he still gets the job done.
This. Battier and Ariza will be the two starting wings. Adelman playing Brooks and Lowry together probably indicates that Lowry is the "backup plan" as the fifth starter if Battier can't play early in the preseason. I mean, there are no other real options other than rookies (Taylor, Budinger, Temple) who can start at SG. Adelman would probably rather go with two veterans, even if they're both PGs. Plus, the Rockets (currently) have Conroy as an extra PG. Still, this is interesting in that it could indicate that Conroy may (by necessity) have an inside track on the 15th roster spot over Pops.
This isn't the final roster. I think there is a move out there that will be made. Something small, I believe.
