[Chron]At 0-4, Rockets face possibility that they are what they record says they are.

I heard some of the Dallas Cowboys are having dinner with some of the Houston Rockets to discuss why they are not playing up to their potential.

Maybe they can figure something out?

 

Yeah, starting off 0-4 was not what I was expecting and really suxs, but everyone needs a little patience. What's more important is how well we're playing come playoffs. Rick will right the ship, Morey will make moves, the team will go on a winning streak and we'll all forget about this losing streak.

I'd like to see some small changes though. We lost defense with Shane's aging and losing Ariza and Ron, be we gained offensively with kevin. Problem is the pieces are not quit put together properly to get the most out of them, plus there could be chemistry issues with so many guys capable of making shots. Really this is kinda still like training camp in the since that all the traveling and mixed rotation during preseason. The team never really seemed to get into a set rotation and get accustomed to each other in game situations.

Miller and Damiper won't be in game shape and comfortable with their team for a few weeks. Defense is a big issue, rotations and game closers will probably be on the top of Rick's priority list. I believe Rick is gonna get this ironed out and running better shortly, defense could be the thorn in the Rockets side all year.

WE ARE NOT A TOP 4 team in the WEST , we are 1 elite player away, been saying this now forever ... We will be lucky to turn this around and maybe "maaaaaybe" be 7-8 team seeded in the Western Conference playoffs ...IF we stay pat with this team .. sorry to all you weird fans who are looking thru rose colored glasses , this team is an elite player away from matching up with the Lakers and Celtics and Orlando or even San Antonio ...try playing those teams in a 7 game series ...

 

Interestingly, the Rockets could be the last winless team in the league now, since Detroit plays Charlotte at home and the Bobcats have not played too well so far.

 

It is about darn time people have woken up. I have been saying this for the past two years. Our Captain/ Leader on our team is BATTIER? Shane Freakin Battier. I hope we aren't planning on paying Brooks a max contract. Heck even Kevin Martin doesn't deserve a "max" contract. We need a true leader and a go to guy. I am just sitting in awe watching the Portland and Oklahoma teams play. Westbrook and Durant taking charge of their teams at 22 years old. Roy taking charge in Portland. This team reminds me of the Francis and Mobley years. A bunch of over rated players by our fans. The only thing I like about our team right now is that we have TRADE BAIT! We can trade brooks and maybe a couple players for a true legit star to pair with Yao and still have a guy like Lowry and Ish on your team. Kevin Martin could be traded and we still have Courtney Lee and Budinger. We just can't be stupid like we were during the Tmac trade and give up both Martin and Brooks for one player and bunch of scrubs. Trade one or the other with fillers and get us a star.
