    Examples:
Andre Miller in 2002 averaged 10.9 assists/game in Cleveland.
Andre Miller in 2003 averaged 6.7 assists/game for LA Clippers with same minutes but different system.

Steve Nash in 2012 averaged 10.7 assists/game in Phoenix.
Steve Nash in 2013 averaged 6.7 assists/game for LA Lakers with same minutes but different cast.

What will Rondo average here? 12 pt and 7 ast? 11 pt and 8 ast? Would you pay $12 million for 12 pt and 8 ast? Are those numbers for an all-star?

Can Dwight Howard and TJones hit the 18 foot jumper like Kevin Garnett when Rondo kicks it out to them?
Why is a scrub from Cleveland the team leader in plus/minus while a top defensive center like Asik has minus 50 per 48 minutes when paired with Howard in the 1st quarter? Why is Beverley the starting point guard on this team instead of Lin?.........It's all about fit, guys.

With the increasing importance of 3 point shooting I'm not exactly sure how Rondo would improve us. Not only is he a horrendous shooter from 'downtown' all the way down to the FT line but he's the kind of player that kills ball movement. The offenses ran in Boston were always below League average after their system was built around him.

He's also coming off a serious knee injury which no one is sure how much it'll affect his athleticism. For a player that relies heavily on his athletic ability due to his lack of basic fundamentals it's a needless risk worth taking with Beverley and Lin already on the books.

The PG position is ridiculously overrated anyway. Not only is the value of the defense in that position overrated due to a simple screen taking even the most elite of defenders away fairly easily but rarely do you ever see ball dominant PG's get anywhere in the playoffs. Championship winning teams are commonly built of elite wing scorers and big men.

Trade Asik for a Stretch 4 that plays good D and an elite wing defender.

More like his agent chimed in and told him how much of a dumbass he was.

Rondo would improve us because he knows how to get the job done against elite competition, and he has a pair of testicles which is more than can be said for most of the players on our team right now.

Rondo has never gotten the job done on the offense. The Celtics were always a below average offensive team with him at the point. Last season they had a better record after Rondo went down with the injury. Harsh.

Dmo is too talented to be sitting on the bench. If anything, Casspi should be the odd man out unless Jones and Dmo completely stink it up.

Hopefully he gets traded soon, he is redundant on the Rockets.

Rondo is the guy that Lin looks up to as well. In other words, his favorite point guard.

agree also maybe he found out from what i read the soonest he can be traded is Dec 15th. He might as well play and with greg smith hurt he's going to get quite a bit of playing time and would have gotten more but because of his tantrum has now lost pt to TJ.

He should get his 10-15 minutes a night backing up Howard... So he should not effect TJ and D-Mo's minutes.

also maybe asik just likes the feel of starting, i played hs hoops and 2 years of jr. college ball and i just didn't like the feel of coming into a game. when you start you immediately catch the rhythm but coming off the bench it just feels like everyone is at a different pace than you are and when you do catch the rhythm it's time to come out.
