i am not crazy about the guy. he's quite a figure, but sometimes drama is more easily enjoyed when it happens on other teams. however, what he did was for his own best interest and you can't fault a guy for that.

It doesn't matter, he seems happy now. He's getting recognized out in LA (free tickets on twitter, Jimmy Kimmel Show, rap career, etc...) and making a decent bit of money out of it.

this is old news to me since i am a ron artest supporter. ron even admitted it in his terrible music that he recorded during the mid 2000s, that he used to smoke weed right before nba games, as well as "hit the liquor store for a half pint" during halftime. (0:55 & 0:59 mark on the youtube rap vid).

Of course he didn't read the offer, his agent read it for him and told him the numbers. The offer is a ten page document that the agent will translate into
$N for M years. You better believe Ron knew what ballpark the Rockets' offer was in, he's just embellishing now to make it a good story.

That's all these guys want to hear, is there actually any player that reads an offer?

Who cares? Artest is Kobe's b**** now. I'm pretty sure he has to wake up in the middle of the night to go get Kobe orange juice.

[rquoter]“I thought for the Houston Rockets, we would have probably won the championship last year,” he said. “I don't know what would have happened, but they ejected me with five minutes left and we were only down 10. And I didn¹t even start it; Kobe started it[/rquoter]

    Really?

So if not for your ejection the Rockets would've won the championship. Howabout maybe Yao getting hurt.

I liked the fire Artest brought to the Rockets but good riddance..

I think it's amazing that Adelman and the rest of the staff were able to keep all the Artest stuff private last season. You never heard stories like this.

I always wished Ben Wallace beat the **** out him that night. I was just in denial because he was on the team.

I'm so glad he's not on this team anymore. I hope he destroys the Lakers.

I still think Ron would have taken him if they were allowed to brawl for a couple of minutes.

seckbach has actually been around for a while, he's pretty popular with nba players because he's weird, but unique..that's just the way he talks "A-delman"..

search for his name or fanhouse on youtube for his other interviews..
