I thought about outside that big game Mario had, Amobi looks like he has more upside. I can see him being a game changing defensive tackle, it wouldn't suprise me if he gets 10 sacks this season and lead the line in tackles. It will be a dead heat for defensive rookie of the year with him in Patrick Willis.

Well...its so early to tell, but I would like the Texans to look at a CB this year. Faggins is horrible and has been horrible, we need an upgrade at CB bad.

we can get a RB in the 4th, say...Cory Boyd from South Carolina. Good all around game that kinda reminds me of Ahman because he can catch the ball out of the backfield.

benjarvus green ellis wouldnt be a bad pick either.

as far as safety goes, quintin demps in the 3rd round would be a steal. other guys like darnell tarrell, charles godfrey, and zach bowman could make the transition to FS (all are CB's right now)

    1- Tony Hills OT
    3- Quintin Demps FS
    4- Tavares Gooden LB
    5- Benjarvus Green Ellis
    6- Kory Lichtensteiger C

Amobi is simply amazing and will only get better but don't underestimate how much playing next to all that talent in the line helps.

As far as CB,I see Bennett stepping up and starting on the other side.If he doesn't then that's another matter and we'll need to address it.

I agree that we need another OT with all the uncertainty about Spencer.

I would expect Boulware and Demps to be fine for now once they get acclimated, but we still need to grab a quality safety in the next draft.Fortunately you can get one later than most positions

A durable RB that can get to the edge(with the threat of taking it to the house) and run tough between the tackles would be nice but those fellas don't grow on trees so we'll have to wait a bit longer.

With what we have on D and the way Schaub and the offense is shaping up,I fear nooone even now.

We have a lot of cap room for next season, so we can get a quality starter and some added depth in areas of concern. We can use the draft to fill in an area that wasnt addressed during free agency.

If we have a competitive team this year...wait until next year. The playoffs wont be a question at all.

reggie smith, the DB from OU may declare. if he does, he's definitely in the mix for us in the 1st round. he can play FS and CB, which would be very good for us.

    1- Reggie Smith FS OU
    3- Chris Williams OT Vandy
    4- Tavares Gooden LB Miami
5- Benjarvus Green Ellis RB Ole Miss
6- Kory Lichtensteiger C Bowling Green

This is a crazy thought but, what are the prospects on Ian Johnson out of Boise State? He had that ridiculous year last year and this year kind of under the radar not really blowing up but, you still see he has a good blend of power, durability, toughness, quickness and speed. He's a good north-south runner. Do you think he potentially would fall down into the high teens to 20's in the first round or does he maybe go to the second? Just curious.

ian johnson isnt that highly rated. he's under 200lbs and he doesnt have plus speed to make up for his size. he's a 3-4 rounder.

Another good game for Amobi, had a sack and a TFL, also got good pressure on Harrington for the most part.

A FS, a cornerback, and another defensive end are the biggest needs on defense.

Offense needs two RBs and offensive line (OC and OLT would be great) help for the running game.
