Yao should do what so many opposing centers and PFs do to him, FLOP when they make contact and see if you can draw the foul. Give 'em a taste of their own medicine, I'm tired of seeing guys go down when Yao just touches them.

Your talking about a completley different group of players running the offense trying to get it to him who have to learn.

    Totally pathetic comprehension.

Yao should be much more aggressive to fight for postion or to switch to the other side. It's not bad if Yao would flop when he's fouled or abused to make the refs difficult to swallow the whistle as a good Chinese proverb says "Attack their shields with their spears." Once some defensive fouls were called, the fronting might end.

Yao is unselfish and a team-oriented player. I don't think he would mind his stats. He always box out to let his teammates get defensive rebounds. That's why Scola's rebounding stats is so good. As a Rox and Yao's fan, Rox winning (all the way in the playoff) is much more significant than Yao's stats, and I think other Yao's fans would have the same opinion.

are you serious? i think every coach in the nba and division 1 basketball knows how to counter against fronts... sometimes it's up to the players to make adjustments...

Yao is simply too slow and lacks the athleticism and the hands to receive those lob passes.

adelman is a very good coach and knows a lot more about basketball and his players' abilities than any of us.

Except no referee is going to call the fouls in favor of Yao. In fact, they may even start enforcing the no-flop rule and call the offensive fouls on Yao.
