I see why you're traumatized with FG shooting considering your boy Rafer is a career 39% shooter from the field. So now you're transferring your frustration to Howard. It's ok, everything will be all right!
The problem with Chuck Hayes is that he can't create his own shot. He can't post up. He can't drive. He can't take someone off the dribble. He has no ability to create a shot. He can score only within a few feet of the hoop when he cuts and gets free and gets a good pass. I'd rather give the starting pg job to aaron brooks than rafer alston. what he makes up for in fewer turnovers is completely canceled out by very poor shot selection.
Now you are just acting delusional. Rafer my boy??! HA!!!!! Combination of Rafer + Juwan + Gundy's love for them = Rocket's doom.
If your facts include 15ppg while ignoring the horrendous FG%, they will never fly well with me. They are incomplete facts at best.
Actually I am. Since 2 of the 3 problems have already been taken care of. So far, a great off season for me.
Look man, you're obviously obsessed with this, so I'll do you a favor and move on. Maybe you can actually find some peace with yourself. See ya!
You came in stating emphatically that Juwan is a good player. I disagreed. You gave me some reasons to think over if I should look at him otherwise. Honestly, I would have said I was wrong and Juwan was a good player, had his % would have been nice, or if he had decent amount of block shots. But, that is not the case. He plays PF, so I am not asking too much by looking at those categories. In the end, we will have to agree to disagree. I still don't consider Juwan good.
ZBoy: I am looking at the 'quality' Juwan Howard's performance in playoffs for Dallas. 2001 playoffs Game 1 at Utah: 14 points 9 rebounds Game 2 at Utah: 17 points 7 rebounds Game 3 vs Utah: 18 points 11 rebounds Game 4 vs Utah: 6 points 5 rebounds Game 5 at Utah: (deciding game) 19 points 8 rebounds Vs San Antonio Game 1: 8 points, 2 rebounds Game 2: 9 points 11 reounds Game 3: 12 points 10 rebounds Game 4: 17 points 8 rebounds Game 5: 14 points 12 rebounds
Just wanted to re-post the stats real quick so that when people see the post they'll see you're wrong instead of having the stats buried in the thread. Good night!
RoxMill you are wasting your time that guy has had a HUGE blindspot when it comes to J Howard. as far as he is concerned, Jho is the Devil
Relax! I am sure most people can see that 36% FG of his. Most educated fans know how to value/devalue 15ppg based on 36% FG. But then again, I am not even sure if all this is needed. Juwan's performance against the Jazz last year is still pretty fresh in everyone's mind.
So, tell me. How did it feel when your boy Juwan was bricking those shots against the Jazz? Glad you are not the GM for the Rockets or we would still be fielding Juwan this year! That is not true. You give JHo too much credit! Devil = Unholy Trinity of Gundy + Rafer + Juwan!
