Of course he won't be another T-mac, he would get a lot more than the mid-level exception than if he was.

Honestly, I think part of it is that the Rockets are giving him a chance, and 20 games isn't a chance really to develop something - it takes a full season and then you can measure progress. People ripping on Ariza have to understand that guys don't turn into stars over night. Ariza has shown a few flashes. Look at Aaron Brooks - he really struggled when the reigns were handed over to him, but he quickly filled into it because he had a year and a half of tutoring from Rafer and playing the back-up. But he was really bad when he started - do you remember?

Rockets made a promise to Ariza - Ariza wanted a larger role, and the Rockets decided to offer that to him as part of the deal to attract him here. You can't just put Ariza back in his Lakers role. He doesn't want to go back.

So the Rockets have to find a way to let him discover his game. It's a painful process. But one that I think is worthwhile in the long run.

With a teared up knee, you would be in the hospital getting nurse treatment. Goodness!

Sources close to the team have told me the Rockets and Knicks have been working diligently on a TMAC deal recenlty and one of the Rockets head guys is in New York right now....

Something may be going down soon....

Well, in the absence of Yao Ming, the Rockets can use Eddy Curry to balance the team plane and the team bus?

Eddy Curry is actually skinny now. Kind of alarming.

Boy cries wolf. Ever read that classic?

I don't think it's going to happen since Morey wouldn't be interested in those long expiring contracts. But if it does, it would be cool for T-Mac. If he plays well there, he could end up team mating with Bosh or Lebron in 2010. :)

Who on the Knicks could make this team better? Isn't that the point of trading McGrady, to get a contributor? Not gonna happen, and like all the other "insider sources" posted its BS.

They very well could be lying to each other, to calm the situation though neither side really means it. Then media reports the lies they told each other.

We can use another scorer and defender as long as RA will put him on minimal playing time to get those cylinder pump to the system. I'm cool with that! Take care TMAC!

Kobe doesn't need good passing ability, he commands double team so one of his teammates must be open. No one doubles TMac nowadays.
