you're right. everybody has said tracy looks good, but still needs more time (i guess to adjust to the fast pace we're playing).

but i think ariza was the most blunt in regards to tracy. he blatantly said tracy would just need a couple of games when he does return to get back to his "old self."

all this though point to tracy will look pretty darn good when he does return. rusty, yes. but skills-wise, i think he still has it to be a pretty good player in this league.

I was just thinking we didn't play that much half court actually, even it's the final period of the game.

In every loss, we almost played half court in the final period of the game I suppose

Adelman is a genius. Completely deflated all the yahoo rumors with one sentence.

We played transition offense at times if i am right. but i think teams wont allow you to play transition offense in clutch time.. its basically one guy who has to create shots for others (esp off a time out).. just like brooks was asked to create a good shot in the final play of the game.. and also.. i think we basically played through Landry completely in the last 4 mins of the game vs portland.

so yeah. its basically half court in the final minutes.. if i remember correctly, Rick's sacramento team basically relied on Bibby-Webber PnR in clutch..

Fast pace we're playing ain't gonna cause him any problems I guess, if he's as healthy he claims to be as anybody else, he could run the court. Whatever his shooting would be.

Yea, skill-wise, that's darn important to him at this point, it don't make no nvm to the team when he comes back the first couple of games if he can't hit a damn shot, but his playmaking ability in clutch time really could help us jump through the hurdles.

    Yea, you're right.:)

But without T-Mac on the court, who's capable of creating his own shots or making plays for his teammates come critical moment? Practicing half-court with T-mac can't change a thing, only could turn someone, esp Aaron maybe, into a mr.clutch, but the cost is too high.

p.s. In the game vs Portland, we played through Landry in wake of the double team drawn by him, we made the most of it before Roy hit that circus layup at 3.0 secs. After the time-out, I couldn't believe what coach drew up. Inbound the ball to Aaron then he went all the way to the basket, we should feed Landry in the low post instead.

I'm not sure how I would interpret this. I'm taking it with a grain of salt because typically, teammates will say nothing but good things about each other. This is especially true in the case of a former all-star like McGrady. Suffice to say that I'm not expecting Mac to return to 04-05 levels. 07-08 seems more likely and even that might be a stretch.

I think Aaron is our best guy .. triple-threat types.. provided he improves his passing ability when teams trap him. . he can learn that only in games.. this is a development oriented season. so i think its fine even if he coughs it up a lil bit..

and I back Rick on that last play against Portland.. with 3 seconds left.. its too difficult to run a play through a PF in such a short period of time.. and one more thing is that you need to feed the guy who is the best dribbler or a guy who can catch and shoot immediately. Landry cannot do both.. so Brooks it is.. we could have tried Chase.. but he is a rookie :)..

in hindsight. i thought Rick should have put in DA and ask him to run to the top of the key to do a catch and shoot.. but again 3 seconds .. difficult..
