Kinda no need when he's on the bench in a suit.

who doubles a dude on one leg? he has to earn the respect again in this league. people just don't double anybody and everybody willy nilly.

again, the only thing i expect tracy to lose a lot of is his quickness. hopefully he will adapt his game to a more inside game (not banging post play), but more along the lines of high/mid post. he's so much taller than basically everyone who guards him that he can still draw double teams from there. it'll be exciting when tracy actually does come back. he's extremely motivated, and hopefully that'll translate onto the court.

near the end when he was directly asked about mcgrady he gave a stock answer.

earlier on he speculated about the rockets next season. he said either brooks or ariza need to step up and become a superstar player or the rockets need to acquire a superstar level player at either the 1 or 2 for them to be championship contenders. he didn't mention mcgrady returning to fill that role.

jon feigen also said most likely tracy won't return next year. we all know the team is actively trying to trade him. unfortunately, morey wants more than what is offered. most likely tracy will either sit out the whole year or he'll play for us.

That being said, it cuts the both ways, and either way we're gonna benefit any way if Morey could get us something worthy of in return in a trade that involves Tracy and someone on this team who's dispensable.

Somehow next year as his return time looks kinda being postponed a bit since they just claimed they're on the same page days back. Any better scenario? I hate seeing him dress up like an assistant coach on the bench.

he'll play this year, whether here or somewhere else. if the team doesn't play him, a 3rd party is going to get involved. rick adelman said himself that "medically," tracy is 100%. if he doesn't play at all in december, then expect something is going to happen that will allow tracy to get on another team (either a trade, buyout, or whatever).

somewhat of an update regarding how tracy looks in practice

and did shane say everybody looks good in half-court situations going 1-on-1? is he serious? or is he just trying to cover up that tmac whup his arse?

so i guess tmac could play halfcourt game with ease, except we're no longer a halfcourt team.

I think shane knows his role will demenish with mcgrady back, and maybe even become expendable at the trade deadline.

Hmm, when is the deadline for a trade to happen? sorta short memory I have these days, better a trade is already in the works or the process of working him back in is underway.

Since when our organization keep their mouth zipped like a sewed pocket and have no valuable information leakage at all.

its funny that Shane says that. :) .. but yeah.. nothing wrong in his part. he is just answering a question.

and whats with all the hype behind the motion offense and player development in the motion offense? i know thats the only way we can win games this season .. but Yao is gonna come back next season and the young ones have a whole lot of adjusting to do..

    I think the Lowry-Landy-

lol, seriously, what's the meaning of covering up that fact, if t-mac comes back, he could whup shane's ass on any given day, well assuming he's 100% percent healthy and his athleticism and hops are back in him.

btw, what's the point of practicing half-court now that we're no longer running any half-court plays now? Even if T-Mac comes back and play, in no way should we play half-court.

No free agent signed in the offseason can be traded until December 15 of that year or until three months have passed (whichever comes later), a rule that prevents teams from signing free agents with the intent of using them strictly as trade fodder

and the NBA trade deadline is mid-february i think?

it was AFTER practice. i guess they wanted to have fun and just went at it 1-on-1. i guess tmac wanted to see where he was at against one of the better individual defenders in the L.

but i guess chuck hayes must have looked good too...so i wouldn't read too much into it like shane says. ;)

Though I don't think this particular rumor is true, I am afraid that the Rockets will deal T-mac just to get him off the team (since his time here is up unfortunately) and take back bad contracts and/or mediocre players in the process.

I feel as if the team should just go with what we have and let Mac try out (when healthy). If he doesn't fit with the new team, then let his contract expire and sign a second-tier free agent in the offseason. We'll also get Yao back and will be in a great position to contend.

All this trading T-Mac just to trade him (when his expiring is something we've had to deal with for so long only to give it away for scraps) worries me.

    Thansk for the info bro.

Shane might say something the organization wants him to say in front of the media, teammates know better and exactly where T-mac was and whether he made a progress on a practice base.
