clearly, if only one defender, ra will ask his players to dump ball to yao. that's exactly what ra mentioned many times he will not give up yao's low post plays.
it doesn't surprise me at all that Francis is the slowest to pick up the offense. if he can't work in a simple-minded halfcourt offense, how can he adapt to a fast motion offense?
it seems ra is very satisfied with our two pfs. it's surprised to know chuck can pass. that will dramatically improve our 4 position. i have a lot of confidence our 4 will not be our weak link anymore when the season starts.
Anyone feel that Mcgrady is gonna have a "breakout" season? If not he should average more assists than last year/ shoot a higher percentage/ dominate and pwn everyone's balls/ all of the above?
i expect 36mpg, 28ppg, 5.5rpg, 6apg, 46fg%, 36%3pt, 78%ft yes i expect not a breakout, but the typical tmac that should be seen the last 2 yrs
I think it's because of antibiotic use in childhood. Drugs like Gentamycin and Streptomycin can cause irreversible ear damage which impairs hearing.
I have not seen anyone mention this yet, but does anyone think there is a chance that Francis does not make the final roster?
IMHO, Francis was never brought in to be the starting PG. He was a low risk, high reward option to add depth, hustle and grit. If he can stay healthy and stay focused, he'll prosper...it just may take awhile. Adelman is going to ask Francis to make passing decisions he's never had to think about and they'll be from multiple spots on the floor. On the plus side, if Francis has anything left in the tank he'll look great on some of the screens and cuts when he's receiving the ball. That's the big upside to a healthy Francis especially since most of the other rotational players seem to be good passers. I still question Francis' decision making on a break. But he did look really good at first when paired with Grant Hill. Good decisons in transition will be what earns every Rocket extra PT.
