The lineup was Lowry/Battier/Budinger/Ariza/Landry and IIRC Adelman's used it in the past few games as well. But before this game, it was mostly Landry in the low post with the other four players camping out on the perimeter, which was good if Carl scored but stagnant otherwise.

However, it seemed like they put in some practice time with this lineup over the break because there was much more movement by the perimeter guys off the ball. And as another poster said, the lineup matched up well defensively when the Spurs had Jefferson, Manu, Hill, and Parker out there. The only weakness was that Landry had to continuosly guard Duncan in the post, leading to early foul trouble for Carl.

I have been asking for Ariza at the 4 spot in a speed lineup for quite some time.

He'll sit Chuck(tendinitis) and move Landry to PF with Scola sliding to C.

I hope now that we have Hayes out Dorsey gets a few minutes just to see if he's improved at all by now.

I also want to see Budinger get a few minutes.

I say the line-up should look like this.

    PG - Brooks
    SG - Budinger
    SF - Ariza
    PF - Scola
    C - Andersen

    and the backups should be

    PG - Lowry
    SG - Cook
    SF - Battier
    PF - Landry
    C - Dorsey

Adelman takes forever to make the obvious moves....he kept Scola on the bench a month too long......and now is doing the same with Cbud...either Shane or Trevor needs to sit.....

I don't care which, but one of them needs to go to the bench...NOW !

I've thought things over for quite a few games and now I'm willing to start Budinger at the 3. Battier should continue to start, with Ariza off the bench.

Chase will hit and miss, but his outside shot has to be respected. He can also cut to the basket without the ball. Giving him more minutes will lead to faster growth. Trevor is better defensively, but this can help us out more by the end of the season or possibly a bit sooner than that.

This is true......but if it has to be Shane to the bench because he would handle it better than fine by me.

But they need a sit down with Trevor and tell him he is on a short leash...heck tell the whole team that if they don't play better others are going to get more minutes.

    HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE !
