    its obviously because of DM.

He even said he was mad about the decisions we made.

    Who makes decisions?

    Rick Adelman.

How much power does DM have over RA's coaching? anyone know? does he interfere?

Adelman's answer to everything is I'm not sure. I'm sure it's the same with this situation.

Pretty sure this just means Battier comes off the bench and mirrors Gino's playing time.

I am with DD on that one i think ariza's horrid shooting is better suited for the bench whie giveing buddinger the start make our team more efficient.

Check detroit game 17 and 11 for bud with no ariza, also no struggles from the rockets with that easy win

Ariza is never coming off the bench. He has naked pictures of Adelman and Morey. That's the only explanation for signing this scrub and keeping him in the starting lineup.

Mark my words, if a trade is made or if Adelman makes a permanent lineup change it will be Shane going to the bench and Mr. Brick Shot with his great ball-handling and positive attitude moving over to SF.

But let's look on the bright side, a bunch of people here say if we surround Trevor with gobs and gobs of talent he might not kill our offense anymore.

    What a great value!!!

I'm in total agreement. Ariza should be the one coming off the bench but obviously he couldn't handle it and would pout. Shane is a true professional. The downside to this is Ariza is going to manage to take shots away from Cbud who is a much better offensive player than Trevor ever will be.

File this one under Adelman being a wuss and not taking the right stance for the situation from a coaching point but perhaps the right move from a player relations point.

Rotation change does not equal a different starting lineup.

They went to the two PG lineup in the first quarter tonight, which is usually something they only do in the fourth.

    Yeah common newbie mistake.

Never diss Shane on this board even if its deserved, I promise you it will get you no where.

You brought that one on yourself.

Adelman was playing Battier, Budinger and Ariza together for a while. Seemed to work well and it got Bud more minutes.

It worked well because Spurs had Jefferson, Manu, Hill, and Parker out there. I've seen Popovich go with this line-up a lot of times.

Stating it this way would presuppose that Adelman actually COULD change the Earth's axis, so I agree. Now how would he do it? Ask Brooks to run around the Earth as fast as possible?
