    LOL.

You're so full of crap. All your posts in that thread is about how Kelvin Cato is better than Yao in the pick and roll. All you do all day is criticize Yao or take credit away from Yao, "Kelvin Cato is better at the PnR" "Kelvin Cato shut Shaq down by himself". Kareem in that whole article praised Yao and never blamed him. But yeah, so you found one sentence in Kareem's interview that had a minor vestige of semblance to your tired out criticisms of Yao. Good job.

I'm waiting for the day that you find something else to do rather than criticize Yao. What do you hope to accomplish, in the mean time?

Can you just imagine these. Hakeem teaching yao how to fade away and some dream shakes, moses teaching yao how to use his ass and how to dominate the paint, ewing teaching yao how to make those jump hooks and now kareem teaching yao the ultimate weapon in basketball, the sky hook, damn. You've got four of the top ten all time greatest centers tutoring yao the basics of becoming the most dominant center in the game. Watch out shaq, yao owns you next year and your going to be his b**** 2-3 years from now.

Abdul Jabbar might as well teach Yao some Wing Chung Kung Fu moves and philosophy while he's at it. He learnt under Bruce Lee's master after all.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar could help out Yao alot. Yao allready has a "baby hook" that he does every now and then. I don't know why he doesn't do it more because he makes it most of the time.

Jabbar doesn't have a good rep as a coach. Great players don't necessarily make great teachers.

Rockets should have given this a try, last year.

Better late than never. Big upside, small risk.

Only JVG's ego is in the way.

Abdul Jabbar failed big time being an assistant coach for the Clippers.

He tried to help Kandiman out, but apparently, Jabbar's attitude was horrible.

However, if Yao ever added the skyook, it would be absolutely tremendous.

The solution is simple: Yao needs the NBA Big-Man Course:

Mon: Kareem on "The Skyhook Without a Parachute"
Tue: Moses Malone on "Offensive Rebounding"
Wed: Patrick Ewing on "Big Man Jump Shooting"
Thu: Dream on "Shaking & Baking in the Paint"
    Fri: David Robinson: "Body Sculpting"
Sat: Ralph Sampsn: "The Art of Point Center"
Sun: Filmography: "Rocky Balboa: A Study of Heart While Eating Beef"

I saw your site and couldn't help to wonder why your titled "Kareem Abdul Jabbar Photos" page has the four-time quitter (3 times on Basketball, 1 time on wife) in there...

... but I did like the Astrodome Brad Daughtery-Doc River-Ewing On the Back pho-to...

Right, if you have lots of money, you must be smart; just look at Paris Hilton.

Point guards could use it too. It's basically unblockable from every position on the court. The only people I ever see ue it come from California. And they are few and far between.

Why does Jabbbar have to become an ass't coach to help Yao on his jump-hook shot? Why can' they just get together over the summer for a month or two to work on the shot? All he needs is to get the fundamental s of the shot down and then keep working at it until he can reproduce it on the court. He can hire Jabbar as his over-the-summer shot trainer.

Yippy-Skippy, I know it's been a long hard day acting on your paranoia and defending Yao's honor, but let me let you in on a llittle secret: I don't hate Yao. (I'm not even going to address the absurd allegations that some YOF's make that I am racist for pointing out that Yao is a lousy rebounder -- please)

I will come out and say it: Yao Ming is the best player on the Rockets. I would choose him over Steve Francis or Cuttino Mobley or anybody else on the team.

That being said, he is far from perfect, still makes a lot of mistakes, and has a looong way to go before he becomes a franchise player.

I know, you're all bent out of shape because I had the gall to point out reality, that Kelvin Cato was guarding Shaq for a good deal of the Lakers series, or that I'd rather have Yao shooting inside than outside. That's all I did was point it out; You just automatically jump to the conclusion that I'm bashing Yao and then raise the drawbridge and start shooting arrows.

Calm down, I don't hate yao, save your rage and energy for juugie or something.

I would love to see Abdul-Jabbar teach Yao some moves.

But there's something we should remember: the game is a lot different for big men than it used to be. Kareem had to beat one-on-ones and a late double team. That's it. Yao has to deal with that as well as being fronted, and being doubled before getting the ball. And hd doesn't have illegal defense rules to help him.

Kareems moves were great, and would be valuable to Yao, but the current rules won't allow a player like Yao to shine.

Can you imagine what Yao's game would be like if we still had the "old school" rules?

With the amount of money we are paying our players, I have no idea why we aren't hiring specialty coaches for the players.

Hire Kareem NOW!. I don't care if Ewing is still working with him. Send Kareem over to China during the off-season. Whatever it takes. And, hire Moses too. How can this hurt?

I wish we would hire Robinson or Lucas to help Stevie. Lucas would be a great addition to the coaching stafff. He could have helped Taylor and Griffin with their drug issues, develop healthy habits, and teach them the fundamentals of the game that some of these guys are lacking. They can be assistant coaches, or personal coaches or mentors, full-time or even as a consultant part-time. I don't care. I just think our guys need more training.
